Some amusing entries to a contest that asked editors to create new trailers of old movies in a different genre using new music, but no new footage. Here is:
The Shining (which won the contest)
West Side Story
Titanic
And then there's this.

Buffy ended several years ago and DVDs of all the seasons (there were 7) have been out for quite a while. We were just way slow to get on the bandwagon, as pretty much everyone else who is into Buffy saw all the episodes long before we did.
Serenity is a movie that is currently out now that is based on a TV show called Firefly that, thanks to terrible marketing and support, tanked about 5 years ago. The amazing thing is that even though only about 10 episodes of Firefly were ever aired, and not even in the correct order, the few people who actually watched it were on the ball enough to rally together, raise money, sign petitions, write letters, create enough underground buzz, etc. to ensure that the episodes were released on a DVD set, which went on to become so successful that the creator of the series was able to make a movie out of his canceled TV show. This is pretty much unheard of, so it's pretty darn exciting for the underdog fans of the show.
"Spoilers" is a generic term that refers to important plot points that someone who hasn't yet experienced the piece of media probably doesn't want to hear beforehand, because it "spoils" the experience for them. If a movie has a twist ending or a beloved character dies or some kind of romantic development occurs, it would be cruel to tell someone before they saw it for themselves.
