Torchwood = Holy Crap Awesome! RTD, Moffat has you beat on mood and pacing hands down, but you can really rock the crazy-ass action stuff. Why is it only 5 days!!!

mom, snakes, and sci fi

This weekend was great, mostly because my mother came to visit, but also due to curling, a party Saturday night filled with green drinks, music, and snakes, and a bunch of awesome scifi tv.

I've been mainlining a bunch of tv lately, Season 4 of The Wire before Christmas, and Torchwood this week. Some thoughts on both. Perhaps mildly spoilerly, but nothing you wouldn't get in the first few minutes of an episode.
