D. and I spent the last two nights at a friend's house, only returning to our snow-filled property this afternoon. There's over 2 feet in a solid blanket from half of the street up our driveway to our house.
We're now faced with digging the car into the driveway. I did a path from the street to the door, now D. is starting the widening to get the car in (currently parked at the neighbor's). We're lucky to get down our street at all, almost nothing's been plowed (Rockville Pike and Connecticut Ave. were nightmares). I'm retroactively super grateful for New England's snow-removal infrastructure.
