No kidding. Now can we go back to discussing the bible in religious studies and lit. classrooms rather than science ones.

None of this is contrary to anything I learned in my (brief) Catholic education. Our texts in my religion classes at Archbishop Mitty went to great lengths to talk about the Church being non-literalist and interpretive in its reading of Scripture.
