jade_phoenix are 1) If you could be instantly fluent in one other language that you currently do not read or speak, which would it be?
Croatian (although I do read and speak a very little of it)
2) If you could have the starring role in any film already made, what would it be?
This is hard, maybe Nicole Kidman's role in Moulin Rouge? I also really suck at acting.
3) If you could receive one small package this very moment, who would it be from and what would be in it?
It would be a letter from the estate of a long lost uncle saying I hard inherited a billion dollars (or at least that the estate would pay off all our loans).
4) If you could own one painting from any collection in the world but were not able to sell it, which work of art would you select?
I have the opposite response from Erin. I know too much about art and therefore it's truly difficult to chose just one painting. Maybe for a sculpture Bernini's Apollo and Daphne.
5) If you could possess one supernatural ability, what would it be?
Invisibility. Or the ability to eat whatever I wanted and always remain healthy and strong and never gain weight.
6) If you could have only one piece of furniture in your house, what would it be?
Our king-sized bed. King-sized beds are the best.
7) If you could read the private diary of someone you know personally, whose diary would it be?
I don't know, probably someone from the program, maybe one of my professors.
8) If you could have one person you know as your slave well-paid and cared for domestic laborer for one month, who would it be?
Creepy weird question, I don't think so, although I would have no objection to a cleaning lady coming in once a week.
9) If you could choose the way you will die, how would you want it to happen?
Quietly, with no pain (or gore), and with my loved ones there with me.
10) If you had to choose the worst home you've ever lived in, which one was it?
There've been so many crappy apartments. Probably freshman summer living above the hardware store. We could smell Ramuntos, but never had enough money to go there. We had bugs and the landlady said we could go downstairs to the hardware store and buy screens for the windows and bug spray. When we killed the first round of bugs (I think they were ants) the white grubby things they had been eating came to live. It was really gross.

Whatever happened between me and Jackson about three lifetimes ago to cause him to not speak to me for a year.

I really don't know enough about art to answer this one. I like art, but I can't think of any particular painting over any other that I'm desperate to own.
Methinks you might have copied my answers and forgotten to change this one? I was sure you'd know enough about art to answer it, although perhaps you have the opposite problem of me - too many paintings to choose from. =)
