Stuff to do

Washington has been great so far because we've been doing things. A few weeks ago we went to an Ani Difranco concert in Baltimore, to a party at Mindy's, to the spy museum and out to lunch with Mindy in Chinatown, last weekend we went out Friday night to a bar in Georgetown and Saturday night to a club in Dupont circle, last night we went to Cirque du Soleil which was incredible (we bought tickets before the dates for the debates were announced), and we have plans for the weeekend! Saturday night we're going swingdancing (if we like the place, we might take lessons on Thursday nights) and Sunday afternoon we're going to the Greek festival at the Orthodox church down the street. Financially this is not always so good, but it's lots of fun and I know Denis is much happier. I think we've done more in the last month then we did during our two years in Williamstown. Of course I still have as much (or more) work to do so it can be a little distracting, but we all need breaks. Speaking of it's 11am and I'm not at the library yet.
