Denis just said I have "the memory of a ferret...or a squirrel"
He can't even insult me using proper examples any more (I think he was going for goldfish). *sigh*
I responded along the lines of "better the memory than the body"
So the next logical step in this discussion is to search the internet for information on ferret memory. Which leads me to ferret universe. Wow. (There's sound.)
eta: great, now it's a thing. When will I get a more affectionate term of endearment?
My husband calls me:
98% of the time: "hon" or "how did you not know I was talking to you?" (me: "because you're facing the computer and talking about shooting the guy who went behind that building")
1.9% of the time: "evil robot from outer space" (I'm not kidding, sometimes there is an accompanying dance or cheering motion, it's both adorable and annoying)
.1% of the time: "Amelia" (like when we're in a crowd and he's trying to get my attention)
I wonder where "ferret-memory" will slot in? Maybe it'll just be a name for today.
I am partial to calling him "hey" "sweetie pie" "hon" "babe" "honey" and "sweetie". I don't believe he's said he likes or dislikes any of them. It feels weird to call him by his first name after all these years.
