Back from the mall and thawing.
durdge and Jem stayed at our place last night. This morning we took the bus and walked to the Lincoln Memorial. Then we wandered to the dense crowd around the Washington Monument. Since we couldn't see anything we turned back and settled in front of a jumbotron near the reflecting pool to watch. Then we walked back the bus and made it home by 2pm. It was a great time, just a little chilly (by chilly I mean I stopped feeling my fingers, I think it was in the 20s without windchill).
