I've a little behind on my trapeze log. I went last Friday night, but I didn't check the weather and didn't realize the temperature had dropped 20 degrees from Thursday to Friday. It was absolutely freezing and I had a sleeveless top. On the plus side there was music playing. On the minus side I was really inconsistent with my whip.
Wednesday I went back during the day properly attired. I worked on the whip (yes, this is going to continue to be repetitive because this stuff is hard). My final position and release are good, I just can't get into a solid first position on the initial swing back. I think I'm not pushing my hips forward enough. I'm trying to squeeze with my arms and have two bruises on the inside of my elbows to prove it. They said one more class and I should get it, we'll see, I'm trying not to get too competitive with myself.
Wednesday was a small class so we had extra turns. I caught the knee-hang twice and tried for the whip but didn't snap up enough. Had a great time though! So much fun!
