Weather?

At noon it was chilly with bright blue sky, sunshine, and a few white puffy clouds.
At 2pm it is now complete gray and snowing heavily. (It is wet heavy snow that's only sticking on the grass).

I don't understand the weather, but it is April Fool's Day.

My parents left this morning. It was nice to visit with them and go out to dinner last night. They were bringing furniture back to Maine so Denis and I now have a proper bedframe and headboard instead of just our mattress set on the floor. We have so much furniture, moving is going to be a real pain.

Yeah, April Fool's Day seems to have sprung a weather switch on the Northwest (Bay Area on up) and New England (NYC on up), as Precipitation Map (http://www.weather.com/maps/activity/achesandpains/usprecipitationforecast_large.html) shows. Like you guys we were having really nice weather this past weekend and then today it snapped and became all overcast and rainy. Not that I'm complaining, since it's all relative and it's not snowing here... =)

I'm glad that you had a nice weekend with your parents. And having a bedframe and headboard is also nifty! Erin and I have a bedframe, but it's just the little metal thing propping the box springs off of the floor, it isn't decorative and it doesn't have a headboard or anything.

Our bedframe is also just a little metal thing too, but it makes the bed so much higher which has been a little disconcerting the last couple nights. We're adjusting though. The headboard is wood and pretty plain, it's nice though, none of our furniture matches so it doesn't really matter. For example in our bedroom alone we have the bed, three dressers that don't match (one painted bright blue and two wooden ones stained different colors) an unfinished wooden bookcase, two bedside tables (one unfinished wood and one painted white), plus the cedar chest which is yet another shade of stain, a blue plastic chest, green metal wire box-type-things, and gray metal shelves. (That's just the small bedroom, we have so much furniture).
