Home now, 2am here so 8am in Croatia and contrary to my usual habit did not sleep on the plane(s). My initial flight was delayed, but then the other two were late as well so I happily made all of my connections and got my luggage. The apartment looks great. It's even cleaner than when I left (go Denis!) and we have a new rug and new vaccum cleaner and stuff. I'm glad to be back in the land of white toilet paper, mostly because my bed, my king-sized bed in its air conditioned room with its overpriced, high thread count Pottery Barn sheets, and the quilt I made for Denis when he was in the military, that bed is very very close to me and soon I will be in it (regrettably alone, but in it just the same).
