weekend

We had a good weekend in NY except for the actual traveling part. We left a little late Sat. morning (my fault) and hit some traffic on the way up, but actually didn't have any difficulties getting into the city. Then we chilled at the hotel (we are divided on whether the hotel was a splurge (me) or necessary for a good night's sleep and therefore productive workweek (D.)). We met everyone at Lincoln Center to hear a band, and then proceeded to the now traditional Swish to celebrate toran's birthday. Birthday party contined at Mona. It was a lot of fun, and great to see everyone. We started feeling old and tired though and left around 1. Sunday we slept in and then joined nonemorecomic for brunch at Cafe con Leche. I spent the afternoon at MoMA (my first visit since the new building) and Denis wandered around Times Square enjoying being in the city. The drive back went smoothly until it took us 45 minutes to go 5 miles in Delaware. We got back fairly late and exhausted and my brain is still mushy this morning. Yay seeing everyone in New York!
