I want to join women's league this half, but I've been gone so I haven't signed up for anything. I emailed B. G. with my info late last night and I'm assuming that he'll sign me up on whatever lists I need to be on. I'm wondering when the leagues start though? I know TGIF continues for a week or two, but I thought women's might be earlier? Like next week, or this week, or did it start last week?

Women's league has a skip's draw tomorrow; you might want to contact the league coordinator tonight so that she knows you want to play....

For women's league (and I think men's) the skips get to choose their teams.

Skip's draw is where the skips for the ladies league negotiate for their teams.. They go around the table and choose vices, then around again choosing 2nds, and then finally snap up their leads.

I'm exempt from the negotiations, because I've got a 5 and under rink that I'll be keeping for the second half (which means that gblvr and bayleaf are stuck with me again, bwwaahaahhaaa!)

I'm thrilled you are gonna come play on Tuesdays though.. fun will be had!
