I had jury duty today. The district doesn't let you get out of it easily. I spent the morning sitting in a quasi-noisy room grading papers. Then I was called in for a felony trial (shooting, 3-4 day committment if chosen) for the afternoon. Spent all afternoon sitting silently (and grading more papers) while they went through the process. The judge didn't really care that I have classes to teach and attend and that I have a friend in law school (although they asked), so he didn't dismiss me, but when the lawyers got to play musical-jury-box I was passed over. At the beginning of the day I thought it would be kind of interesting to sit in a trial (not to mention I was feeling some twinges of civic duty), but by 4:00 I was so darn tired I just wanted to get my $4 and get out of there. Now tired, but Denis should be cooking potato and leek soup once he gets back from the store, yummy.
I've been really exhausted the last couple days I don't know what's up. Monday I was tired, but went to the gym in the afternoon and felt peppier. Then I was grading papers Monday evening and fell asleep without realizing it. I woke up to Denis leaning over me saying "it's almost 8 and you're drooling all over." Then I went to bed and normal time and slept soundly. Tuesday I got up for meeting and lecture, almost feel asleep in lecture (my co-TAs kept asking if I was okay.) I took the hint and went home early skipping my Tuesday afternoon class. I took another long afternoon nap and still slept all last night. I'm also cranky, irritable, bloated, thirsty, and drinking so much water I'm going to the bathroom all the time. (And it's not PMS). I don't know what's up. I was feeling so good from all the exercise and now I feel like crap, exhuasted, fuzzy-in-the-head and weak-in-the-bladder crap. Maybe I'm coming down with something?

get checked out?
The only thing that I could think of is that, when I have my gluten reaction, I feel really tired, and get really thirsty because my GI tract gets all inflammed and sucks up alot of water. You're too young and healthy to have type-2 diabetes onset (although those would be similar symptoms), but it could be some food thing or sugar-metabolism thing. Do you have anything in your family like that? You could try simplifying your diet for a week, and see if you feel better (ie; rice, basic veggies, and easy on the salt and spices).
