Pittsburgh and zoo

Tomorrow I'm off to Pittsburgh! My language program starts Monday. I'm nervous because I haven't studied in a while and I signed up for the intermediate class even though I'm really only beginner-intermediate (figured it's better to push myself). Plus I subletted an apartment sight-unseen so it'll be a surprise tomorrow. My friend Sarah is driving me. She is a Pittsburgh native so at least I don't have to worry about getting lost. Denis has to get a visa for the UK Friday and then will come meet me.

We had a nice last day in DC today. We got up and got the car radio fixed (finally, after two weeks without being able to shut it off or adjust the volume.) Then we went to ihop for lunch and spent the afternoon at the zoo. It was really fun I haven't been to a zoo in a long time. The last time we went to the DC zoo was the morning Denis left for the military. Guess we're starting a little zoo-before-you-leave tradition. Tonight we're just hanging out at home and I'm packing.
