Best Month Ever

This is the last day of the best month ever. Beginning with the end of classes and papers then graduation, the trip to Croatia, and of course the wonderful California wedding. We are back home now after a long trip Monday culminating in a wet, foggy drive. We arrived around 4am. I forgot I had cleaned (what happened to that black stuff in the shower, oh yeah) it was a nice surprise. Denis is working before his job interview in DC on Thursday. I start work tomorrow and have been working on sorting through everything, mail, email, luggage, money stuff (determining that we still have none). I had a reunion with my scale that led to a reunion with my running shoes, although my legs were more ambitious than my lungs so I ended up walking a bit. It still felt good to exercise. I gained a little weight back, but it wasn’t too bad considering my diet expanded to include multiple daily servings of greasy meat (mmm sausage), cheese, icecream, and alcohol (mostly yummy homemade wine). This weekend we’re going camping with my mom’s side of the family in Vermont to celebrate the fourth of July.

I’ll break up my entries on the trip as I get to it. I’m horrible about keeping a travel journal so I want to get things down for myself.

First off, it was so good to see you and Denis this past weekend. Thank you so much for flying out and being such a big part of our wedding. We're looking forward to seeing you again in a month! And thanks for including us in your list of things that made this month the best month ever! =)

Also, now that you've had the best month ever, is VH1 going to take note and comment on this in their show? ;-)
