Day 1 - Pride. Seven great things about yourself.
Day 2 - Greed. Seven worldly material desires
Day 3 - Wrath. Seven things that piss you off.
1. When people hurt my friends and family and people I love. My bar for this is much lower then it is for the general public (BIL who is not doing his share of the child-rearing I'm looking at you).
2. Ignoring logic and/or not thinking critically about issues. See teaching creationism as science rather than religion. In personal relationships dressing irrationality up as rationality. I'm cool with being irrational (certain flavors of irrational at least), just admit that's what's going on.
3. Stonewalling. I hate this in public discourse and in my personal life. Want to piss me off, stop talking to me or continue to talk around the issue. Or stop governing in order to vote down everything that has the President's name on it. I don't know how people think anything can be accomplished without communication.
4. Taking advantage of people who have less power than you do. In small ways and large. Particularly with children where neglect makes me just as angry as abuse. If you have kids you have to showthefuckup and do your best. I'm with
sanj, "it's the patriarchy, stupid."
5. Arrogance and a sense of entitlement. Also denigrating people for asking questions or for not knowing something and trying to learn. I'm a big fan of humility. None of us knows it all. We all should be learning.
6. Being cruel just because you can. Lying because you're too scared to tell the truth. Let's try to take responsibility for our actions even when it's hard. I'm a fan of integrity and acting like an adult.
7. I think I'm out of things. Moar snow? nah. No nap times at work? When technological devices don't do what they're supposed to?
Oh I got it: Not accepting the people you love for who they are. Unconditional seems pretty self explanatory.
Day 4 - Sloth. Seven things you neglect to do.
Day 5 - Envy. Seven qualities you lack and covet.
Day 6 - Gluttony. Seven guilty pleasures.
Day 7 - Lust. Seven love secrets.
Day 2 - Greed. Seven worldly material desires
Day 3 - Wrath. Seven things that piss you off.
