Also doesn't "Hitched or Ditched" sound like the worst show ever? Couples in long term relationships whose relationships are "stalled" have to decide to get married *in a week* or break up. From the commercial it looks like they surprise one member of the couple with this choice.
I would *never* fuck over someone I loved by offering them an ultimatum like that on television. Honestly if someone pulled that Jerry Springer shit on me there wouldn't be enough "ditched" tape to fill an episode. And who would sign the paper giving permission to air such a thing!
Perhaps the only way it would work was if as a couple you schemed to mess with the producers for the purpose of famewhoring (okay honey, you ask like you're scared of commitment, then we'll have a big screaming fight the night before, then I'll come begging for forgiveness mere hours before the wedding, and we'll have to run to save the dress, etc. insert drama as needed). At least that would make you stronger as a couple! And you'd get your crazy tv wedding! At least that would make sense! I really hope it's all manufactured.
