I had my third trapeze class today. I wasn't supposed to go for a couple weeks, but I just couldn't resist!

Since I caught my knee hang catches I started working on the whip. After a couple tries I found my balance point, but I can't get there as quickly as I need to yet. More practice!

I bought grips today and they made such a difference! My hands aren't ripped up all although I have some baby callouses.

A lovely woman took some videos of me. They're from my camera and little but you get a sense of what I'm doing. There's a medicore attempt at the whip (I need to get my hips up quicker so I can put my legs out on my first swing back towards the platform), and a knee hang catch.

It is tons of fun and also scary. Ooh, are your joint issues in your shoulders or just lower body? I think this might be fairly low impact, would you want to try?

Oh, if you come on the 25th at 3:30 you should bring Evil Lurker (if he's not working). It would be great to see him (in the air or on the ground, but especially in the air, hee).
