abka: painting of daffodils and pear (Default)

Thanks John and Erin for your comments. I haven't really noticed any damage from dying my hair, the dye is pretty gentle, it's been single-process jobs, and I've been taking better care of it in general. Anyway, when they just do my roots it's "virgin" hair anyway and not creating further damage. Even if I go back to my normal color I will have to have something done (dyed to match I'm assuming, or can they strip the color?, but that doesn't sound healthy) to the already dyed part, lest I end up with two-toned hair while it's growing out.

I did get it dyed again, but less-orange, a little darker for fall, close to my natural color. The biggest change was that I got it cut short. I've had it at chin length before, but chin-length all one length isn't super flattering, so now I have much shorter areas around my face at cheekbone-length. They're not quite bangs, but I'm still getting used to having something so close to my face. My co-workers seem to like it, I think it's "cute" without being "cutesy." If my mom brings the digital camera up this weekend I'll post a picture.
