Yesterday was an inert day. It was so inert that I didn't check email or even write about my inertia, I didn't do anything (I mean it wasn't even an unproductive day, but I had fun or got a lot of sleep or whatever, I did nothing). I hate being so unproductive and just generally crabby and yucky. Maybe it was productive in that I've gotten the unproductivity out of my system and now can start doing some of the million things I need to do. I think I got stresed and then just shorted out. Blech.
Here are my answers to
jade_phoenix's short personality quiz:
1. Violet: mysterious, dramatic, luxurious/regal
2. Skunk: friendly, chill, cute, and efficent at repelling what it doesn't like (yes I know that's four)
3. chilly, contemplative, wistful (I always think of beaches as cold and overcast)
4. confused then panicky then frustrated, then accepting, like when you're stuck in traffic and just give up being pissed off and wait for something to happen
( Thoughts on my answers )
Also in anticipation of Turkey Day a link to some nifty info on the First Thanksgiving. It includes an account by William Bradford who I am a descent of. I think I would have passed on the eels.

Yay! I finally got our final itinerary for Europe! As part of our program we go on a winter study-trip for a month. It's an intense pace, we all have to give oral reports, and we see so many cool things. It should either bring our class closer together or make us hate each other.
This year it's Amsterdam, Brussells, London, Vienna, and Istanbul. Here's last year's itinerary. I'm bummed that we're not going to Germany (particularly Berlin) or Prague, but you can't have everything. The best part of this trip is that travel, hotels, and breakfast are paid for. We're only responsible for lunch, dinner, museum admissions, and transportation within (but not between) cities.
We'll be gone Jan. 3rd through the 29th. I'm going to miss my husband a lot, but spending a month visiting museums would be a special kind of hell for him (sort of like me spending a month at computer expos).
