Shoe issue update: I've still been putting off buying anything until it's actually May (budget thing). The consensus seemed to be purple because you can wear purple shoes with a blue dress and because I seemed to like the purple shoes more. Well I like the color of the purple more, but as shoes I think I like the blue more. Also I won't wear the purple shoes with the blue dress because I want to look at light and airy for the beach and I think a dark color with black details would be too much. But I think you could wear them together with appropriate accessories and that would make the dress wearable into the fall, and I do have more things I can wear the purple with. Plus colorful shoes are awesome--love the idea of purple shoes and a red dress.

I was pretty much decided on getting the blue ones. Then I went and checked back at the websites and the purple ones are gone. So decision kind of made for me.

I hate to be the girl who asks "a or b?" and everyone says b and I say, oh but now I know a. *sigh* Thanks everyone for your feedback :)

ETA: Can I also just say that since I've spent so much time and energy thinking about these shoes that that in itself means I should just go ahead and buy the damn things. :)

I probably spend an equal amount of time debating whether I want to make my work autosignature say

I think I remember the picture that your new pic is from. It was that party you had with your friends where you all wore leather and corsets right?
