We're in pretty good shape for tomorrow:
-bought groceries (in the rain, the turkey is thawing in the back of the car)
-put groceries away and cleaned up the kitchen
-made brine for turkey, it's cooling, we'll put it in tonight
-made cranberry relish, in the fridge so the flavors marry
-made white roux in preparation for gravy tomorrow
-picked up new china and put in the china bookcase cabinet
-D. is shopping for a new in-oven thermometer (we broke our old one), and getting fresh herbs from the other grocery store

James Bond tonight! yay!

oh, and now my sister and her boyfriend are going to come up. They keep changing their mind, I think she's really stressed about it. Hopefully their drive will go well tomorrow morning and we'll have a good day.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

I will be going to lots of make up dance classes this weekend and I don't know if you need to make any up but if you're interested in joining me let me know! It would be great to see you again in a non-curling (hi! gotta go sweep/throw rocks now!) capacity. Assuming you're not too busy with the holidays, of course. It sounds like you're going all out, at least compared to my experience of Thanksgiving dinner. :)

I meant to send you an email this afternoon -- count me out of your calculations, at least for food. I might stop by sometime to say hi, but I won't be eating. Have a good time, though!

Have a great Thanksgiving! We're traveling instead of cooking, so all I have to put together tonight are a macaroni-and-cheese (at a table of eight, there are four children seven and under) and cookies for the Cinci zoo on Saturday. Hope the weather clears, for all of us!

Happy Thanksgiving! Since they don't do turkey day here, I've been reading your prepatory posts and living vicariously through them. I can almost taste the dishes. ;-)
