dumb moment of the day

Half-way through my shower this morning I was reminded of the expression "don't rub salt into the wound". Despite knowing what the phrase means, realizing that cutting oneself shaving might create small "wounds" and that my "Dead Seasalt body scrub" contains salt, I didn't quite put all that information together until it was too late.
