post-thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful. My sister and J. came up and joined ellen_fremedon, D., and Minka. We had a lovely time, the food was tasty, and now we know how to make mlinci properly. :)

Saturday and Sunday we hung around and did some shopping. Minka left on Sunday. I expected to be relieved to have my couch and the front seat of the car back, but instead both D. and I have been very sad the last couple of days. We were really used to her company and the livingroom seems empty without her.

Generally feeling low-energy and irritable, but trying to keep on. D. and I had some stomach thing yesterday (of course right after my mother-in-law leaves we get food poisoning) so I went to school for 3 hours then came home and went to bed for 3 hours. Today my goals include laundry and making it to curling. I should reorganize my kitchen cabinets but that might be overly ambitious.
