Happy Monday! (no sarcasim) I don't know why but I feel very optomistic this morning. I still have way too much to do to prepare for my class in New York tomorrow and for class on Wednesday (haven't even started thinking about Thursday yet) and am a little stressed about not having a summer job (and not really knowing what to do about that.) But in general am feeling optimistic and happy (actually got out of bed roughly on time this morning). And it's Denis's first (full) day of work at the new job!
I think I am going to have to spend some time in Croatia if I'm really going to pull it together and learn the language. Probably too late for this summer, but will probably have to be next summer. Denis is bummed because we probably couldn't afford to have him go and all he's still on provisional greencard until fall 2004. Maybe summer 2005, that's too far away to think about right now. We found a great art history Ph.D. program with a prof. in Eastern Slavic stuff on the web last night, the only problem is it's at Ohio State. Six years in Ohio? I don't know.
Anyway, hope you all have happy Mondays and that I feel so optimistic at 7pm tonight after French.
