My accessibility tour has been put on hold for the time being, but I will visit some of the museums at some point :)

Currently there is debate that the Law Enforcement Museum needs more "wow" objects. Since the staff knows too much about the area I'm asking for your opinion. What do you think are "wow" objects that should be included in the museum? What would you draw you in and encourage you to visit?

It can be anything related to law enforcement, contemporary, historical, pop culture, etc. General or specific suggestions welcome. There is a meeting tomorrow so anything you can think of off the top of you heads would be great! (Who knows something you suggest may make it into the museum?)

Hm - I don't know as much about the museum as I could (which may mean that I haven't been reading your LJ as carefully as I should!)... but some ideas would be: stuff related to SWAT teams, artifacts from famous FBI cases and other law enforcement 'events' (famous manhunts, showdowns, etc.), any weapons really (I'm thinking specifically of my cousins with that one - they're high school boys and love playing airsoft, paintball, etc.)... it's not a wow object but a section on 'your rights' would be cool - maybe a combination of public information and historical context (how the rights of the accused have evolved), anything prisons-related, famous jailbreaks, how law enforcement in other countries compares to the US, law enforcement in historical eras: early America, medieval Europe, Rome, China, ancient Egypt, etc... those are some ideas, anyhoo!
