evaluations

I looked at my student evaluations from last term. They were on the whole positive. The criticisms were mostly predictable (they didn't like quizzes or having the class at 9am) or justified (limited knowledge of the subject matter, wanted their second papers back earlier.) Here are some of the nicer comments. (This is for myself, but I figure livejournal is an appropriate place to share the happy.)

"She's thorough & an asset"
"She did an excellent job and was always extremely helpful. She will make a great professor some day."
"Amelia is a stern TA who care on the progress of her interested students and has no remorse for those who sleep or do nothing in class."
"Amelia is an awesome TA, she helped me understand things and organize my notes well. She is also easy going and nice to everyone. Makes coming to discussion not so bad!"
"Amelia was great, she was able to engage us in the course and encourge us to take on the material."
"EXTREMELY helpful. Amelia had discussions with us, clarified the lectures and basically saved my life in this class."
"Thank you Amelia for making this class a better experience through your knowledge and personal attitude. You were great!"
