So as many of you know D. and I have been working through the Buffy boxed set for the first time together. We watched season one and the first half of season two together. Then I went on vacation for 9 days. Only 9 days. When I got back D. said he had watched a few episodes without me. "How many, are you in season 3?" "Um, no. I'm at the beginning of season 5." Don't asked me how he watched almost 3 seasons in a week, but perhaps it explains why he didn't always return my phonecalls. Anyway, I'm at the end of season 3. I just have the season finale to go. I found season one to be cheesy fun. I am easily entertained. Season two was emotionally dramatic--I talked/moaned/yelled a lot at the tv. I'm rather enjoying season three, although the prom episode made me bawl. I really enjoyed "Bandcandy" and "Doppleganger" (but then Giles and Willow are my favorite characters). I like how the series takes normal highscool/adolescent issues and magnifies them (I thought "Ted" was a great example of this.)
