My *favorite* dry-clean-only sweater moved from suitcase to dirty laundry to washer to dryer undetected and now it no longer fits like my favorite sweater. Is there anything that I can do? This is the first time I've made such a laundry mistake.
Mmm... depends on what sort of sweater it is. It may be time to play it Taps, but if it is mohair or angora you can frequently mist it with water and then stretch it like Armstrong. It works best if you cross your fingers while doing it.
And clearly I need some coffee today because I can't even do LJ tags correctly. I was, of course, deferring to fatwetdog and her expertise with this kind of thing.
