Today I have my German exam, so it's my last day of German forever!!!! (or at least the forseeable future). I am still not recovered from the dinner party I attended last night. It was great, so much yummy food and wine and great conversation about the state of art history and how to do work that makes a difference and why you do art history and thinking about how your work impacts the big picture etc. Two great scholars were there and the conversation was wonderful. Denis came too (yay) but left before dessert (should I really be surprised). So I really wanted to sleep in this morning, but must review German vocab and write semiotics paper.
