I wasn't familiar with no homo, but this amusing video explains it.
But more important is Jay Smooth's An Old Person's Guide to "No Homo". No homo appears pretty dated at this point, but he has some good thoughts about using homophoboic (fill in racist, sexist, etc.) language ironically:
e.g. "But as a general rule if you're not the original target of an insult you can't be the one to reclaim it."
eta: Now I've watched a bunch of this guy's video clips and I'm starting to heart him the way I heart Rachel Maddow.
