Spezzatino calll for volunteers

If anyone's looking to do some great volunteer work or round our your writing/photography/graphic design/marketing portfolio thought I'd pass this along.

Spezzatino is looking for volunteer contributors.

If you like food (and who doesn't?) consider volunteering
for Spezzatino magazine.

As you know, Spezzatino is a nonprofit magazine that
supports the Healthy Food Bank foundation. The
HFB is a registered charity that provides nutritious foods
like fruits, vegetables and whole grains to local food banks
around Canada and the United States.

Spezzatino is a beautiful product that is -- amazingly --
created entirely by volunteers.

We're currently looking for help with:

* article writing and recipes
* high-quality photography and illustration
* layout and graphic design (must have Adobe
InDesign)
* event coordination and planning
* blogging
* marketing and publicity

If you have skills in these areas and/or have something else
you think might be helpful, please drop us a line at
info@spezzatino.com.

Also, please ask yourself: Do I know anyone else who
might like to be involved? If so, please feel free
to pass this invite along to them.

Magazine contributors receive a PDF of their work, which
they are free to share, plus a bio on the Spezzatino
website, and the opportunity to be featured in a magazine
with international circulation. The magazine gets help, you
feel good and build your portfolio, hungry people get
healthy food. Everyone wins!

Each issue is theme-based. Upcoming issues are:

* Vol 7: Basil
* Vol 8: Coffee
* Vol 9: Garlic
* Vol 10: Pork
* Vol 11: Chocolate
* Vol 12: Rice

If you have an obsession with garlic, raise heritage
