Denis just pre-ordered me the new Buffy boxed set that will be released next week! We are late jumping on the Buffy-bandwagon, but with coffman and jade_phoenix's recent positive reviews and the new release it seemed like a good time. Plus because Barnes and Nobles is having a sale and Denis is a member we got all seven seasons for $126 (and free shipping!).

We're still working our way through them. We just watched the first episode of Season 5, so we're over the hump, but there's still a long way to go.

Awesome! I can really see you guys enjoying Buffy. Season 1 really didn't suck me in, but by the time we were part-way through Season 2 I was fully hooked. So great!

Also:

Wow, that's a great deal on all seven seasons! I seem to recall that the boxed set used to cost twice that, which was still cheaper than all seven seasons separately.

Here in the UK, the new boxed set will cost exactly what you're paying, but in pounds rather than dollars. Which is still a steal, considering individual seasons cost £80 ($139) each!

Yeah, I'm glad we were able to buy our DVDs in the States... =)
