Quiz and Turkey

Here are my answers to jade_phoenix's short personality quiz:
1. Violet: mysterious, dramatic, luxurious/regal
2. Skunk: friendly, chill, cute, and efficent at repelling what it doesn't like (yes I know that's four)
3. chilly, contemplative, wistful (I always think of beaches as cold and overcast)
4. confused then panicky then frustrated, then accepting, like when you're stuck in traffic and just give up being pissed off and wait for something to happen

I can buy 1, 2, and 4 in a general sort of way, but I'm ascribing my answer to 3 to the fact that I grew up in Maine. As Erin said, these are just for fun.

Also in anticipation of Turkey Day a link to some nifty info on the First Thanksgiving. It includes an account by William Bradford who I am a descent of. I think I would have passed on the eels.

Evil beach question

Chris and I also both said something to the effect of "cold" and "contemplative" for the beach question. In his case, beaches in the Bay Area are actually almost always cold, at least the ones that he's been to frequently. In my case, I figured that if I was alone at the beach it must be night time, which would mean it was probably cold.

Yeah, the beach question is weird. I'm not taking it too seriously.
