Since I'm on an update role, last week (? I think, it seems so long ago) Denis and I went and saw Lost in Translation (yay, a real date!) and enjoyed it immensely. The best movie I've seen in a long time (although I kept thinking of my cousin and her husband who are taking a 6 or 7 week vacation, three weeks in Tokyo and 3-4 weeks in New Zealand.) I doubt Matrix Revolutions will be able to compete.

I might not even see Matrix Revolutions. I didn't see Reloaded due to poooooor reviews and Revolutions is only supposed to be slightly better. The thing is, I REALLY liked the first movie, I left the movie feeling elated and happy. I'm afraid of spoiling that memory and becoming in some way embittered. Now the Lord of the Rings, on the other hand, is a series that gets better with each movie. And I heard there was a Blade III coming out -- I actually thought Blade II was just as good as the original.

I'm a little afraid of seeing the Matrix Revolutions because I keep hearing it's baaaaaaad. Sadness.
