Birthdays and Dancing Cats

Happy Birthday (again and a day late) to [livejournal.com profile] grumph!
Happy Birthday (today) to Brian! (I'm not sure if he reads this livejournal, but other people who know him do and should wish him a happy birthday).

In other news, remember the dancing viking cats? They danced the Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song? I'd link to the page if I remembered the address. They are now a VH1 commercial. They have funny hats and bad animation and sing a different song, but they're still the same cats. I was spending some quality time watching I Love the 80s (ahh childhood memories) and started cracking up when they came on.

I made spaghetti last night and wished that I was at Dank's birthday party. Nothing much exciting going on here, except that it is beautiful and sunny for the second day in a row.

I finally saw that last night! Very nifty. They're sort of cyborg cats now, but still cute and funny.

Although I think I like their rendition of Immigrant Song the best, their original gig, "Fell in Love with a Girl" by The White Stripes (http://www.rathergood.com/punk_kittens/), is pretty funny too. The stage diving kitten is a great touch.

Sadly, their version of Immigrant Song seems to have been removed from the site.
